The "Trompe l'oeil" collection plays with the appearance of the clay, to reveal its matter otherwise than what one usually expects. Bark is a living, fascinating material which marks time and is embellished with its reliefs: wood or land lines, rich in stories and sensations. The bark is a primary inspiration for this collection. The grain of the wood is imitated and engraved in clay.
